AMSTERDAM, NY, Mar. 28, 2025 – Respected pollster, Tony Fabrizio, who conducted President Trump’s polling through the 2024 campaign, had Constantino winning the NY-21 special election in a $59,000 poll commissioned by the Constantino campaign that came in hours after President Trump announced that Congresswoman Stefanik would not vacate her seat.

“I hired President Trump’s pollster to give my campaign credible data that I was planning to use in my final negotiations with the GOP Party Chairs,” said Constantino, “The results reflected my internal polls which showed I was their best candidate all along.”

In a hypothetical GOP primary, Constantino beat Stec by 5 points. Notably, Conservative voters preferred Constantino by 12 points. Constantino frequently referred to State Senator Dan Stec as a “Trump Hater” and this accusation was verified in the data. The very few Republicans who refused to vote for President Trump preferred Dan Stec by a whopping 32 points.

Constantino’s assertion that Liz Joy would lose to Democrat Blake Gendebein was also lent credibility by Fabrizio's poll, which showed the two time NY-20 candidate with single digit support in a hypothetical GOP primary and statistical tie with Gendebien.

Constantino held a strong 4 point lead over Democrat Blake Gendebien amongst likely voters, without having yet secured a major party nomination.

“The poll shows that I was the best candidate to secure the seat but, unfortunately, Conservative Party Chairman Gerry Kassar betrayed the voters, Congresswoman Stefanik and the President by backing Trump Hating Dan Stec,” said Constantino. “Dan Stec was never an option and President Trump likely decided it wasn’t worth risking a split ticket race.”

Constantino held a well-attended Town Hall on Thursday where he shared that he respects the President’s decision and likely would have done the same. “President Trump is focused on our nation’s top priorities and, unfortunately, navigating the mess Chairman Kassar made by backing Dan Stec isn’t something our President should have to waste time on.”
